Christopher Cisneros Franco, better known as Choper NawersÂź, hails from the beautiful City of the Three RiversâCuliacĂĄn, Sinaloa. Heâs been professionally into illustration for around 25 years now, and letâs just say: heâs been at it full blast.
Over the years, heâs worked on all kinds of projectsâeditorial, advertising, artisticâyou name it.
Some of the big names heâs teamed up with include: C&A, NBC Universal, TV UNAM, Canal 22, UNHCR, UNDP, UNODC, Cerveza Indio, Comex, Editorial Televisa, Kybernus, Grupo ExpansiĂłn, and publishing houses like Laurence King, Monsa Ediciones, SRK, and Belio MGZN.
Heâs also always had a soft spot for social causes and pro bono workâmeaning heâs put his talent to use in volunteer projects that help vulnerable communities, mostly by cutting down or waiving costs altogether.
One of his most memorable achievements was pulling off the #365Rounds challengeâone illustration a day for a whole year. He didnât just finish it, he turned it into a book, and that piece ended up winning the a! Diseño Award 2016 in the Book category.
He’s deeply interested in design projects that aim to improve communities and promote social awarenessâalways, always putting Mexico first.
These days, he works freelance under his own brand: Choper NawersÂź, hopping around the country in search of fresh, exciting, and meaningful projects.
